For more than a decade, Greenview has played an influential role in shaping the hotel industry’s approach to sustainability data. In collaboration with the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration’s Center for Hospitality Research, Greenview co-organized and facilitated the inaugural Sustainability Roundtable in 2009 – a first-of-its-kind forum bringing together sustainability leaders from major hotel chains.
These early roundtables laid the groundwork for modern hotel sustainability data management, establishing shared principles, frameworks, and collaboration that continue to guide the industry today.
